Dr. Tam Ly brings to the Fauquier Health team a wealth of expertise in the prevention and control of infectious diseases, including those related to HIV. She is a specialist regarding the medical requirements for international travel. Board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in infectious disease, Dr. Ly is also a certified phlebotomist and sementologist. Each day, you’ll find her talking with her patients, listening and involving them—from diagnosis to treatment to recovery.
As a private practice specialist, Dr. Ly is a firm believer to the Planetree Philosophy of Care, where all parties, including the patient and the primary physician are an integral part of the treatment and therapy.
Dr. Ly earned her doctor of medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia – Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002, after earning her bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia in 1997.
