After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland in 1989, Dr. David completed the Medical College of Virginia Internal Medicine Internship and Residency Program.
Dr. David is certified in electrocardiography (ECG) by the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of the Fauquier County Medical Society and the Medical Society of Virginia. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Academy of Integrated Health and Medicine.
Dr. David has been with Piedmont Internal Medicine since 1999 and was the medical director for Hospice Support of Fauquier County from 1994 to 2004. Leadership positions that Dr. David has held at Fauquier Health include president of the Medical Staff, chairman of the Department of Medicine and Patient Care Monitoring Committee, an at-large medical staff member of the Executive Committee, member of the Fauquier Hospital Board of Trustees and Fauquier Health Quality and Safety Committee.
Dr. David is married and has three children. He volunteers at the Fauquier Free Clinic and had been on at least one mission trip per year from 2003 through 2014.
