Mohamad Salkini, MD

Dr. Mohamad Salkini is a fellowship-trained, board-certified urologist. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He practices at Fauquier Health in Warrenton, Virginia. He has dual fellowship training in endourology and urologic cancer surgery. Dr. Salkini has been performing robotic surgery since 2007 and has completed 2,000 robotic procedures - more than any other robotically-trained surgeon in the region. Dr. Salkini spent 15 years at West Virginia University Medical Center, where he served as Director of Robotic Surgery and section chief of Urologic Oncology. Dr. Salkini also held the academic rank of Professor of Urology at West Virginia University. Dr. Salkini received specialized training in robotic surgery at the University of Cincinnati and advanced training in kidney stone management at Heidelberg University in Germany. After completing his urology residency in 2003 at the Damascus University School of Medicine, he moved to Germany, where he completed fellowship training in endourology and urologic cancer surgery. Dr. Salkini specializes in the surgical treatment of cancers of the kidney, prostate, bladder and the entire urinary tract. He also treats incontinence.
