Rheumatology: About the Practice
Dr. Nandini Chhitwal, rheumatologist, works in the newly renovated Fauquier Health Medical Center on Fauquier Hospital’s campus in Warrenton, Virginia. Dr. Chhitwal uses a multidisciplinary approach to manage her patients in the most comprehensive and effective manner.
Rheumatology Services
- Arthritis, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout
- Auto-immune diseases, such as lupus, Sjogren’s and scleroderma
- Musculoskeletal pain disorders and fibromyalgia
We gladly welcome Medicare patients
Rheumatology patients must provide a copy of their Medicare card in order for Fauquier Health to verify eligibility and process Medicare claims. Medicare programs specifically exclude payment for certain items and services, such as cosmetic surgery, some oral surgery procedures, personal comfort items, hearing evaluations, and more. Deductibles and co-payments are also the responsibility of the patient.
