OB/GYN patients are involved with every part of the process and their concerns are addressed at our Fauquier Hospital location in Warrenton, Virginia. Dr. Sumiya Majeed

Fully aware that women tend to focus their energies on taking care of others instead of themselves, Dr. Sumiya Majeed says, “I encourage women to take charge of their own health. To do that, they need the right information. I try to share with patients my understanding and knowledge of what is happening in ways they can understand. In fact, I am notorious for my poorly drawn pictures that I use to help them visualize things!” As an obstetrician, she adds, “I want to spend my time keeping women healthy, providing care throughout pregnancy. Delivery is the most rewarding experience I have encountered.”

Education and Training

Dr. Majeed earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies.
